Citizen Blagojevich – A look into the (not so distant future)
Rod is ecstatic now that he gets to where his Elvis costume 23/7!!
You have to wonder what it’s like in the mind of Rod right now. Going from the talk show circuit, to being just another dirt-bag ex politician who has no chance of a future, whatsoever.
SO…..we had a vision this morning about life in the house of Rod in the not so distant future and figure it’s going to be going something like this…
(Rod, still in bed, flat on his back so as not to wrinkle the rhinestone PJ’s)
Patti: GET UP YOU (BLEEPING) PIECE OF (BLEEP).
Rod: but I don’t have to go in today until 8 because I’m closing today!
Patti: I don’t give a (BLEEP), I have to go sit in that (bleeping) rental center and listen to people tell me “how they just can’t fit all that stuff in their garage anymore so they had to come rent space to put it all!” You know what? After next week when you finish selling all your (bleeping) Elvis Presley bull(bleep), we’ll be able to start renting space in this (bleeping) place!!! Get your ass up.
Rod: Aw come on Patti. Can’t I sleep for just a while longer??
Patti: Just get the (bleep) up and maybe they’ll give you some overtime if you show a little INITIATIVE!! Speaking of (bleeping) INITIATIVES you stupid (BLEEP), remember that stupid (bleeping) “New Americans Initiatives” you signed for those stupid (bleeping) organizations who wanted to legalize illegal aliens?? (bleeping) Jose’, the head bagger at your Jewel is working less hours and making more than you, you dumb-(bleep), AND HE HAS BENEFITS! Why don’t you call your good friend Joshua Hoyt at the ICIRR and tell him that you’ve given him MILLIONS of dollars over the last 6 years for NOTHING and now YOU could use a little charity from him!!!
Rod: I already did that. He said “sorry Rod, you’re not an illegal alien and it’s not our policy to help Americans”

It’s 12:00 Noon, and Bozo Circus is on the air!!
This entire blog today will be about one thing. The Governor attempting at any cost, to avoid jail time in his criminal convictions soon to come. How will he do that? By having someone find him incompetent to stand trial.
He’s doing a good job. The man is certifiably nuts today. He compared himself to Martin Luther King, Norman Mandella and Mathatma Gandhi. I’m truly surprised however that he hasn’t been making his appearances in his Elvis Presley outfit he bought on eBay.
All Rod Blagojevich wanted to do in life was be an entertainer. He thought he had the stuff. He seemed to walk the walk and talk the talk, but all that time he was apparently making deals under the table wih the people who put him in the position of Governor or Illinois.
In all of this disgrace I think the most dispicable act of this man, was to shake down Children’s Memorial Hospital. THIS is what shows the true Character of Rod Blagojevich. Greed. It was all about him and what he and his family could get out of it, regardless if it was just a $100,000 state contract, or the jackpot, Barack Obama’s vacant senate seat.
On the flipside of all these atrocities of our Governor, no one is talking about how it got this far in the first place!! This all came as a surprise to everyone?????
I wrote a letter YEARS ago to U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald asking him to look into Blagodope’s doling out of millions of state dollars to an organization called the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. I actually received a reply by Mr. Fitzgerald. An encouraging sign that someone was in fact, paying attention.
When Blagodope started his “New American Initiative”, many big names were standing at his side. Durbin and Shakowski stand out the most, but Luis Gutierrez shined in this deal as well. This organization sought out, and registered possibly thousands of illegal aliens to vote in the past elections. For their efforts, The ICIRR received $3 Million Dollars per year for the last 4 years? All to register voters (and shove them to the Democrats of course.
ALL-KIDS, was aimed specifically at giving healthcare to illegal aliens’ children in Illinois. Rod wanted these people on his side. This was the fastest growing ethnic group on the rise here in Illinois so it made total sense to him to accomndate them in any way he could. Promise them anything……at OUR (the legal taxpayer’s) expense!
What better a draw for illegal aliens to come to Illinois could there possibly be? Free healthcare, free education and other state funded assistance to keep them working in their illegal jobs here in the state.
It’s my personal opinion that every executive order Rod Blagojoke signed while in office, immediately be recinded.
Every Charity or 501(c3) organization who’s rules state clearly in the IRS CODE, not be affiliated with political parties, be looked into and treated accordingly.
Every bill that Rod Blagodope has signed into law (Medical Malpractice Limits comes to mind first) also be looked into because the real winners in this bill, were the insurance buddies of the Governor. The “big contributors”. Remember….everything Rod did….he did for him. Not for us. Ask any doctor if their Malpractive insurance has gone down at all since.
For this guy to go on television with this scripted sitcom he’s come up with is nothing less that a total and utter disgrace to anyone born and raised in Illinois and has now brought it to a new level.
Chicago being a Sanctuary city of illegal aliens while their murder rate climbs to record levels is never questioned.
Daley will never come out and say “Blago is an idiot” because Daley Created Blago and now Blago is out of control.
Weeks ago one of his former aides made a statement to the local media that he (Blago) should really have a psych evaluation. This was the first indicator that he was going to go after an insanity defense and now he has to play it out.
I can hear the conversation with his daughters right now.
“Kids, Daddy is a good man, like Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi and Oprah Winfrey. You know that, right?

Ok….unfortunately because of politics, I have to pretend like I’m a little crazy right now but it’s going to be “funny” crazy, not scary crazy, ok?

Meanwhile…..back in the Combine offices of Daley and Company, they’re trying their hardest to stay neutral. They can’t condemn him without stamping “HYPOCRITE” across their foreheads because they too soon, may be names on a list of people being investigated by U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald.
I predict in this episode of Bozo….Blago doesn’t even make it to bucket number 1.
Roland Burris, Democrats and Fear…
For months now we’ve heard about how “costly” it would be to hold a special election to fill the second Illinois Senate seat, even though it’s actually been vacant for over 2 years now. We’ve seen Daley on TV with his deer in the headlights look saying something stupid like “but that would cost the taxpayers 30-40 million dollars! No, No….that’s too much money to spend!” This coming from the man who continues to sink billions of dollars into the O’Hare Expansion Project which is going to fail on levels never before seen in this country . He’s keeping his buddies working though, and that’s what it’s all about, right?
Then, out of the blue pops Roland Burris who Blagodope knew would take some of the heat off of him for a while. Burris, standing in front of the cameras as though he just hit bucket number 6 on Bozo’s Circus, sees nothing wrong with this appointment. Nothing at all. He’s like the kid who pretends like nothing is wrong with walking right up to the bucket and dropping the ball in the bucket only we’re not talking about giving him a bike, a shiny new silver dollar and a new Crayola pencil set. We’re talking 1 of 2 Senate seats that will represent the people of Illinois. Something Barack Obama failed miserably in doing because he was too busy campaigning for the Presidency.
Now we have Rahm Emanuel’s vacant congressional seat that the Governor MUST set a special election date for, under Constitutional law within 5 days, SO, why not make it a double election??
The People in Rahm’s district get to vote for his replacemant AND Obama’s. The rest of us just pick Obama’s replacement. Sounds almost too easy, doesn’t it? It is….but the there’s a terrible four letter word involved here that the Democrats have creeping under their fingernails in Illinois as I type.
That four letter word……. “ F E A R “!
Something not normally known to Illinois Democrats but let’s be real here. This is not getting caught in the men’s room at an airport tapping someone’s foot. It’s not selling fake Driver’s Licenses and Social Security Cards to illegal aliens. This is serious and as far as I’m concerned, underminds the integrity of every American in this country and the saddest part about it is that in Illinois…..it’s business as usual.
When the Chicago FBI Field Director Robert Grant said in a news conference “If this isn’t the most corrupt state in the country, it’s real close to it!” Daley and the rest of the “Machiners” huffed on their finger nails and buffed them on their lapels because they truly and honestly believe, this will end with the prosecution and jailing of Rod Blagodope. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it suddenly encompasses our new President-Elect.
Letting Illinois Governor Rod Blagodope pick the Senate replacement knowing now, what we do, would be like making the now imprisoned ex-Illinois Governor George Ryan a driver’s license examiner for the Secretary of State’s Office.
Blagojevich and Illinois’ Pandora’s Box
Rod Blagojevich just opened Illinois Political “Pandora’s Box” with his statement today appointing former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris.
Blago said on Fox News tonight:
“…To NOT fill the vacancy would be o deprive the people of Illinois of TWO United States Senators, to deprive the people of Illinois, their appropriate voice and votes IN the United States Senate..”
Well, lets look at that comment for a moment.
In Barack Obama’s run for Illinois Senate, he ran on a platform of “Change”. He ran on saying he was going to change Illinois Politics and would work FOR the people of Illinois.
Since his election to office, Barack Obama LEADS the United States Senate in “NO VOTES”. He had absolutely NO intention of serving the people of Illinois as he knew he would immediately begin his campaign for President.
We in Illinois, have been left to the ridiculous policies of Dick Durbin, Democratic Party Puppeteer.
We in Illinois have been living for the last 3 years with only ONE Senator as our voice, and HE only listened to the people who contributed heavily to HIS election.
Governor Blagojevich, how you sleep at night is beyond me, knowing your children will grow up knowing their father was almost the most corrupt politician in the state would literally shame ME to death.
And then we have the chief racist of Chicago Politics Bobby Rush suggest that simply because of Roland Burris’ race, the appointment should stand.
I would just assume take a “Joe Blow” Average Citizen (from OUTSIDE the Chicago Political Machine, and give it to him, no matter what race or ethnic background he was.
Why is no one talking about the obvious….
It’s time we deter from Governor Blagodope for a few minutes. As much as we know how he loves to see his name everywhere, it’s time to mention the unmentionable; The Obama Factor.
Are we all suppose to believe that the question of “who would fill Obama’s vacant Senate seat”, just started when Blago started the bidding process??? No one is really that stupid, are they???
This is a “Machine” that thinks so far into the future and figures for every possible variable in that future, that it has now landed one of their home-grown, in the White House. This wasn’t an accident.
The final transformation is just weeks away and then the entire country will then see what we in Illinois, have been living with for years. Unstoppable corruption.
It’s my personal opinion that U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald told Mr. Obama to hold releasing his report on the “internal investigation of his transition team” for a reason. To stop Obama from embarrassing himself when this whole case becomes public. He will be implicated. I can just taste it now and Fitzgerald is sitting back with that Bill Clinton grin on his face right now willing to let Obama bury himself.
To think that no one in the last 2 years has thought about Obama’s replacement is as ridiculous as thinking that Daley was actually remorseful in his destruction of MEIGS FIELD.

I did get a kick out the Chicago Tribune article today about Obama in Hawaii and how the locals call him kamaaina, the Hawaiian word for native born or one who has lived here for some time. Apparently the birth certificate issue is still in the winds as no one has actually seen this original document that is “locked in a safe”. We’ll see I guess…..maybe.
As far as Blago naming Burris to Obama’s Senate seat goes, well….he might as well as named himself because we all know it’s just NOT going to happen. Blago is so oblivious to reality right now, it’s scary and this may very well be setting up his “insanity” defense.

The silence is deafening. Notice how quiet Daley is! He doesn’t go out in public because he’s afraid the FBI will be sitting waiting for him, next! I think we’ll take a quick gander into the future.
It’s December 2009 and Blagojevich has been convicted of numerous felonies, the least of which turned out to be his attempted sale of President Obama’s empty Senate seat.
Blago was sentenced to 15 years in IDOC (The Big House) and was not allowed to Club Fed where the other piece of crap governor Ryan still resides and sends letters to the editor from, every weekend.
Blago attorney Ed Genson finally comes out and says “eh, I lost the case because the son of a bitch was guilty! It’s not my fault he’s an idiot!”
Blago sitting in his cell with his “lil Machine” boss still on his shoulder cries himself to sleep every night. Not because of where he is or who’s going to “get him” tomorrow, but because they took away his Vitalis.
His Wife Patty is next in court and will strike a plea bargain for dirt on Daley and the Chicago Bears will once again, fold up and fade away before the playoff’s.

Chicago Tribune’s John Kass and “Dead Meat Blago”…
Chicago Tribune’s John Kass is my hero. He’s been calling it like it is for a lot of years now. I don’t think anyone has laid out Chicago politics like John has.
His story today kind of touches on the Blago Caper possibly spreading like a disease. You could only hope, right? To get the real dope on this story though you have to go back to the beginning, or at least to when Obama decided to run for the office of President.
First, I can’t believe Obama pulled it off, but when you look at the money spent and the “Machine” that was giving him his momentum, Alfred E. Newman could have made that run and won. Barack Obama had no intention of serving the people of Illinois as their U.S. Senator. He knew he’d be on the campaign trail his entire first term. He campaigned on a “Change” platform, and did absolutely nothing. He led the Senate in “no-vote” votes since being in office. He was that snake-oil salesman who captivated anyone who listened to him speak, and bought what he had to sell at every opportunity. Wait……..isn’t that what Blago did to a “T” and these stupid people fell for it again?
I was down by DePaul University one day in the summer and a bunch of college kids passed me all wearing their “Obama” and “CHANGE” buttons. I asked them why he would make such a good President, and they all said (almost in harmony..) “Because he’ll bring CHANGE!” looking at me like I was a lepar for even asking. I looked at them and said “but what has he done for the State of Illinois since he’s been in office? He said he was going to ‘change’ things here too and hasn’t done a thing for us!” They all looked at each other like they were lost. Then when I asked if they knew he was the single senator with the most “no-vote” votes in the Senate, they looked like I was trying to rob them or something. Then one kid says “so! He’s busy, he needs to campaign. He needs to win so he could bring change to this country! We can’t take any more of GWB’s bs anymore”. I laughed and walked away having proved what I set out to prove. It didn’t take much to brainwash the young voters of this country. It was a choice between a (half) black guy with charisma and a great smile, or an old fart who was (ewwww!) a Republican.
Wasn’t that almost the exact set up for the Illinois Gubernatorial race though too? Everyone was so disappointed by George Ryan’s indictment and later convictions that there was no way they were going to vote for a “Republican” again, only now are they realizing that this isn’t a “Party” problem, it’s the “political system” as a whole of which we’ve been putting up with in Illinois for over 50 years. Chicago Politics killed my father, literally….but that’s a whole other blog for another day.
If there’s one party that’s more corrupt than the other, I would say that the Dem’s have to take the cake, but the Republicans have sold out their constiuents on more than one occasion in this state too, right down to how House Speaker Dennis Hastert vacated his seat so the Dems aren’t the only bad guys in town.
Now we’re faced with either letting someone in the current legislature “appoint” (cough!) the vacant Senate seat to someone, or holding a special election which they all balk at because of the cost. The funniest thing on TV this week (next to SNL’s version of Blago of course), was Dick Daley on the news looking all serious saying “oh no….we couldn’t do a special election, it would cost too much like 30 or 40 million dollars!”. This coming from the guy who’s wasted more money making a giant shiney kidney bean in the middle of Chicago, or who hasn’t blinked an eye because the O’Hare expansion project is billions more than projected and the airlines who were suppose to be helping pay for it, aren’t doing so anymore. Let’s “sell” the bean Dick. I’m sure one of your buddies would cough $50M to have it in their yard, or maybe the people at Green Giant would like to slap their logo on it!
I don’t think letting the people of Illinois decide who’s going to replace the Senator (and Governor!) is such a waste of money no matter how much it costs. What they (Chicago Machine politicians) are really worried about now though, is losing a Democratically held (and almost guaranteed) seat in the Senate. That’s what this is about when it’s all done and said and we go to bed at night. Who has the most marbles in their bag come morning. Unfortunately for Blago, his bag is now empty. No more marbles for you Rod! You F’d the whole game you idiot!!! lol!
Politics in Illinois is sickening us all. You know what it’s like on a hot summer day when you drive past one of those neighborhoods that were built on a landfill and the wind is just right(or wrong!)……even with your windows up, you have to hold back the heaves. This is how we all feel right now. We can’t hold our noses anymore because no matter what, you smell it, you taste it and you see it’s disgusting ugly head.
That leads us back to those 6 letters. C H A N G E. is it even possible or do we always have to settle for the lessor of 2 evils???
Thank you for once again making me laugh John Kass. When you’re busy laughing, you’re not thinking about puking from the stench. When I was watching SNL last night, there was once particular moment that really made me think hard about this and as funny as it was……it wasn’t. When SNL’s Casey Wilson (playing Sen. Elizabeth Dole) was questioning Jason Sudeikas (who did a “spot-on” impersonation of Blago) said “in my opinion, you are a disgrace to the state of Illinois………well, maybe not to THE state of Illinois……but you know what I’m sayin…..if you were the governor of any…other…state…”. Have we (Illinoians) really grown to accept this from our government and elected officials?
As much as things “change” in Illinois, they really stay the same, don’t they.
Remembering the guy with “the funny name”…
That’s how he was marketed, if you remember. “The guy with the funny name”. Nobody could pronounce it, (and now we wish we never heard it!) Daley joked about it in news conferences when endorsing him time after time and every news agency and media outlet helped him along. The guy with the funny name got the seat, because of the Machine…and for no other reason.
Rod’s claim to fame was the attemped bill banning .50 caliber gun sales in Illinois, because, come on….it IS the weapon of choice in crimes, isn’t it? What? Not one shooting in the last 6 years in Chicago was shot by a .50 caliber? Say it ain’t so!
Knowing that the primary concern of Blago was to line his pockets and secure his and his family’s future, we now need to look at every major bill he pushed through the legislature, like the Medical Malpractice Limits bill. This was supposedly proposed to “keep doctors in Illinois” as Blago and company told us that doctors were heading for the borders because the insurance rates were so high in Illinois. About the same time that was pushed, Crain’s Chicago Business (search “more doctors in Illinois” on their website) ran a story that directly conflicted with that information stating that the net licenses for doctors in Illinois was actually up from the previous years!
Now who do you think really benefited the most from that legislation? Doctors? Ask a Doctor in Illinois if their malpractice insurance rates have gone down! Then look at the bottom line for Illinois’ insurance companies. It doesn’t take an idiot to figure out that the Insurance companies were the big winners here and after his arrest yesterday and reading the complaints, you have to wonder what Blago did to negotiate with them for his help with that legislation? Something, was in it for him.
Every company he or his liasons have been dealing with need to be looked into. I mean…look at the hair-brained ideas he’s been coming up with lately from selling (or leasing for 99 years) the Illinois Lottery, or selling the Illinois Tollway. Who would he get such ridiculous ideas from? Dick Daley immediately comes to mind, I mean after all, he groomed Blago to be his bag-boy in the capitol and then Rod went and got all greedy on him. Don’t you wonder now, why Blago refused to give Daley a casino in Chicago???

The “pro-illegal immigration” organization ICIRR (Illinois Coalition for Refugee and Immigrants Rights) got millions of dollars a year and their main purpose was clearly, to promote the Democratic idiolgy like Congressman Luis Gutiurez’s and the governor’s far left belief’s for legalizing the undocumented people in the state with the hope of turning them into legal voters.
Illinois politics suck, and have for a long time.
After watching Jesse Jackson Jr. on TV tonight vehemently denying offering anything to Blago, you just have to know that in the coming days it’s going to be spelled out for us that he was indeed, involved up to his ears! Deny, Deny, Deny!!! The Democtratic motto!
I can hardly wait to wake up tomorrow and see what new “news” is out there because this is really opening the Pandora’s Box of Illinois politics and it’s needed to be opened for years.
Also just FYI, the Dems have also used the “funny name” marketing ploy in the election of several key political seats in the state, including Alexi what’s his name and our new President-Elect. I think we need to start looking a Smith’s and Jone’s this time around, huh??
Blago was setting up his “Mother Teresa” background for a long time, waiting for this day.
Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and “The Ryan Syndrome”.
Watching Fox News Chicago’s coverage of this unbelievable story, Fox’s Political reporter Larry Yellen said that like Ryan and his death-row pardons, anything Blago does now will be seen as something to try and make him not look so bad to the people, when in fact, Blagojevich has been doing these very things since the Feds started investigating him 2 years ago.
He, unlike George Ryan, had a head start on constructing that silver-dollar halo over his head but it appears his luck has run out. Anyone who sees ANYTHING Blagojevich has done while in office as good, has rose colored glasses on. Everything he has done, he’s done so when and if the hammer ever dropped on him, he could look and say “but, look, I gave all those kids insurance!” (even though his lame-brained schemes bankrupted our state!)
Could I be elected Governor of Illinois if I promised the voters that I’d give them all a $100,000.00 check or tax rebate? Probably. Could the state ever in reality do that? No.
This is what Blago has done since he took over Ryan’s dirty seat. He didn’t even change Ryan’s sear cushion. Why bother?
U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald also brought the SEIU into the conversation this morning in his news conference. A union known throughout the state as the largest “immigrant” union in the country with a known goal of legalization of undocumented immigrants. Of course….who better to “organize” illegals.
This investigation will like the coroner cutting open that body that’s been at the bottom of the lake for years. The stuff that comes out of it will be sickening, but not surprising. I would not doubt for a minute that they are taking this route, to get to Dick Daley.
I wonder how long it will take for Barack Obama to throw Blago under the bus with the rest of the people who helped get him where he is today and at what point the people will stop and say “Barack Obama had to know what all was going on here all through his term and run for the White House”.
